FAQs

Does it hurt?

I do my best to keep my clients as comfortable as possible..  I do use a topical pre-numbing cream and also numb throughout the procedure.  While everyone has a different pain tolerance, I have not had any clients unable to finish the application, and most are surprised at how little discomfort they experienced!

Who is an ideal candidate for Permanent Lip Blush?

The skin on the lips is very thin and very sensitive. There will always be a degree of swelling with any tattoo procedure, however, the lips can tend to swell more than other areas.  Swelling with the most immediately to 48 hours after the procedure, with most swelling subsiding within 24 to 72 hours. Lips will appear very bright, intense, and sometimes unevenly swollen initially. Using ice packs, keeping lips moist, avoiding salty/spicy foods, and avoiding exercise will help manage any swelling.
